The apple crumble pie is a traditional English dessert, which is one of the visiting cards of the English cuisine. The dessert does not contain many calories and is a great solution for people, who like tasty products, but have to stick to the diet quite often. Try cooking it right now and enjoy the taste you will hardy forget!


  • apple : 1100 g (6 cups of chopped apples)
  • butter : 100 g
  • oat-flakes : 0.5 cup
  • flour : 0.5 cup
  • sugar : 80 g
  • marmalade : 3 Tbsp (1.5 tbsp into the dough and 1.5 tbsp for the topping)
  • cinnamon : 1 tsp (milled)
  • lemon juice : 3 Tbsp
  • shredded coconut : 0.25 cup
  • cashew : 0.25 cup (chopped)
  • salt : 1 pinch

  1. Heat the oven to the maximum temperature. Peel the apples, remove the middle part of them and chop the apples so that each piece could be 0.5-1 cm thick

  2. Add cinnamon, marmalade (jam or jelly) and lemon juice

  3. Mix everything well and put the mixture into the baking form, which should be 20-23 cm in diameter

  4. Chop your cashew in a separate bowel

  5. Mix oat-flakes, butter, flour, nuts, sugar, cinnamon and shredded coconut using your blender. Add marmalade

  6. Pour the dough on the apples and place in the hot oven for 30-40 minutes
