The combination of spicy and exquisite Asian ingredients with ordinary beans will be a real surprise for your guests. The dish is a perfect choice for those, who are on a diet or just wish to eat healthy food.  

Ingredients

  • beans: 4 cup (soak the beans for the night in advance)
  • red onion: 4 piece
  • carrots: 3 piece
  • garlic: 5 clove
  • olive oil: 100 ml
  • water: 100 ml (cold and boiled)
  • salt: 1 tsp
  • sugar: 4 Tbsp
  • wine vinegar: 4 Tbsp
  • soy sauce: 1.5 Tbsp
  • chili pepper: 0.5 tsp (powdered)
  • ginger: 0.5 tsp (powdered)
  • spices: 4 tsp (1 teaspoon of spices for chicken, 1 teaspoon of spices for fish and 1 teaspoon of spices for the Korean Carrot Salad)
  • Khmeli-suneli: 1 tsp

  1. Get the products ready for cooking the dish.

  2. Boil the soaked beans without any salt. Add salt when the beans are ready to give them specific taste.

  3. Slice the onion into thin semi-circles and leave in the marinade for 20 minutes. To cook the marinade, mix 3 tablespoons of olive oil, 4 tablespoons of sugar, 4 tablespoons of vinegar, 1 teaspoon of salt and 100 ml of cold boiled water.

  4. Grate the carrot, add chopped garlic, chili pepper, ginger and spices. Finally, add the rest of olive oil. Mash the carrot with your hands and leave for 5 minutes.

  5. Mix the marinated onion with the beans and carrot. Add soy sauce and mix the salad carefully.
