History: Bhajis are a traditional Indian snack or appetizer made with onions, spices, and chickpea flour. They are often deep-fried, but this recipe offers a healthier alternative by baking them. This dish originates from Northern India and has become popular in the UK and other parts of the world.

Tips and Tricks: To make the perfect Baked Onion Bhajis, make sure to slice the onions thinly and cook them until they are translucent. This will ensure that they are tender and will blend well with the other ingredients. Also, use a good quality chickpea flour for a smoother and more consistent texture. Additionally, you may add your preferred spices for a more personalized flavor.

Tips for presenting the dish: To serve the Baked Onion Bhajis, arrange them on a platter or plate and garnish with fresh coriander or mint leaves. You can also serve them with different types of chutneys for dipping, such as mango chutney or mint chutney. This dish pairs well with a cold beer or a flavorful Indian chai tea. Enjoy as an appetizer or a light meal.
