Basmati rice with fruits is a healthy recipe, which is very quickly to prepare. It is ideal for lunch and dinner, this recipe is vegan, it is also light and substantial.
- vegetable oil : 2 Tbsp
- pineapple syrup : 6 Tbsp
- pear : 2 piece
- banana : 2 piece
- plum : 6 piece
- pumpkin : 200 g
- basmati rice : 100 g
Stages of cooking
Cut pumpkin into big but thin pieces. Cut bananas in half lengthwise. Put rice in a boiling water and boil during 15 minutes.
Fry pumpkin from both sides on vegetable oil during 2 minutes.
When pumpkin is ready, add bananas, and cut plums and pears
Pour over pineapple syrup. Take it on the flame during several minutes. The whole ammount of time will be about 6 minutes. Besides, you may use agave syrup or topinambour syrup.
Now place basmati rice on the plate and fruits over it. Stir everything properly, try not to break caramelized fruits.
