This recipe of a bread and butter pudding is so delicious that it will not leave you and your guests indifferent. It is easy to cook and contains several ingredients you definitely have at home. Learn the recipe right away and try cooking it the sooner-the better to surprise your loved ones!

Ingredients

  • brown bread: 12 piece
  • brown sugar: 1 Tbsp
  • raisins: 50 g
  • butter: 50 g
  • egg: 4 piece
  • milk: 200 ml
  • sultanas: 50 g
  • salt: 1 pinch

  1. Butter bread pieces on both sides.

  2. Put pieces of bread onto each other.

  3. Then cut the bread into large pieces using a sharp knife.

  4. Then take a baking form and put one layer of bread inside.

  5. Dredge bread with raisins and sultanas. Then crumble one tablespoon of brown sugar over the top of the bread layer.

  6. Mix eggs with milk in a separate bowl or any other container you have.

  7. Pour the mixture above the first layer of bread and leave it to saturate for several minutes.

  8. Repeat these steps once again to make the second layer of the pudding. If you have enough ingredients and a large baking pan, you can make one more layer.

  9. When making the last layer, do not add raisins and sultanas. Just add brown sugar and a bit of milk. Press the pudding slightly with your fingers.

  10. Bake in the oven at 180 C (320 F) for about 25 minutes. Serve with cream, custard or jam! Enjoy!
