Here's the best Caesar salad recipe I have ever tasted! A wonderful, rich, anchovy dressing makes this salad a meal. Serve with crusty Italian bread.


  • garlic, peeled, divided: 6 clove
  • mayonnaise: 0.75 cup
  • grated Parmesan cheese, divided: 6 Tbsp
  • anchovy fillets, minced: 5 piece
  • lemon juice, or more to taste: 1 Tbsp
  • Worcestershire sauce: 1 tsp
  • Dijon mustard: 1 tsp
  • salt and ground black pepper to taste: 0 piece
  • olive oil: 0.25 cup
  • day-old bread, cubed: 4 cups
  • romaine lettuce, torn into bite-sized pieces: 1 head
