Cheese scones belong to traditional English dishes and can be cooked in less than no time. They contain simple ingredients and are quite easy to cook. They will surely appeal to your family and friends!

  • hard pressed cheese: 400 g (grated)
  • butter: 60 g
  • yogurt: 240 ml
  • yeast powder: 0.5 tsp
  • baking powder: 2.5 tsp
  • salt: 0.5 tsp
  • flour: 280 g

  1. Mix all the dry ingredients in a bowl. These are flour, salt, baking powder and yeast powder. Add butter and cut it with a knife. You can also use a fork to mash the butter

  3. Knead the dough. If it is a bit sticky, add more flour

  4. Divide the dough into 2 parts. Roll out the first part of the dough. It should be around 2 cm thick

  6. Cover the dough with yogurt and bake in the oven at 200 degrees for about 20 minutes
