  1. Cut panir into small squares.

  3. Pour 50 ml of water into the stew-pan, put spinach and ginger, simmer for 3-4 minutes over medium heat. Tilt to a sieve to get rid of excess moisture, then send the vegetables to a blender and chop them until smooth.

  4. Heat oil in a pan, add onions and fry for about 5 minutes until golden. Add cumin and garlic, fry for another 30 seconds, add tomato paste or puree, cook for 5 minutes. Salt to taste.
