We suggest making one of the healthy cucumber recipes - cucumber lemonade, which will cool you on a hot day. You can cook it in both sour and sweet versions, adding sugar or honey to taste.
- cucumber : 250 g
- lemon : 170 g
- ginger : 40 g
- mint leaves : 10 g
- water : 1 litre
Stages of cooking
Prepare the ingredients.
Cut one cucumber into small pieces and place in a blender bowl. There also squeeze the juice of half a lemon. Grind to smooth.
Strain the mixture through cheesecloth to prevent cucumber particles from falling into the lemonade.
Peel the ginger and cut into slices 2-3 mm wide, cut the cucumber and the remaining lemon in the same way. Put all the ginger, cucumber, lemon and mint leaves into a water jug. Pour the cucumber juice. Let it stay for 1 hour in the fridge and pour into glasses. If desired, add ice to each glass.
