This chicken soup with cheese is a traditional British dish, which will become a great surprise for your loved ones. It is easy to cook and can be a good choice for kids, pregnant women and those, who are on a diet.
- chicken broth : 1000 ml
- chicken breasts : 300 g
- rice : 80 g
- leek : 100 g
- processed cheese : 100 g
- butter : 3 Tbsp
- parsley : 4 piece
- salt : 1 pinch
- black pepper : 0.5 tsp (powdered)
Stages of cooking
Wash the leek and chop it. Boil chicken breast and cut it into pieces. Wash the rice several times
Melt the butter in a frying pan and fry chicken with leek in it
Pour chicken broth into a big pot and wait until it boils
Add rice, parsley and boil on small fire for about 10 minutes
Add fried chicken and leek. Do not forget about salt and black pepper. Boil for 5 minutes more on small fire
Grate the cheese. Remove parsley from the pot, add grated cheese and wait until it dissolves. Take the pot away from the fire.
