This is the gingerbread cookie icing that my mother always made at Christmas.В 

Ingredients

  • confectioners' sugar: 1 cup
  • milk: 0.25 cup (or as needed)
  • food coloring: 10 drops

  1. Sift confectioners' sugar into a small bowl. Stir in enough milk to make a smooth but not too runny consistency.
