  1. Melt the butter in a saucepan over low heat. Peel orange zest.

  2. Cut the orange in half and squeeze the juice.

  3. Whip eggs with sugar using a mixer at maximum speed for 2-3 minutes.

  4. In the egg mixture gently pour a little cooled butter, add flour, baking powder and mix until smooth.

  5. Add orange zest and juice to the dough, leaving 2-3 tbsp. of juice, if you plan to make the icing. Mix gently.

  6. Put the dough into the bowl of the cooker, which has been previously greased with butter.

  7. Put the bowl in a slow cooker and bake a cake in the "Baking" mode for 40 minutes. Check the readiness of the cake with a wooden skewer - it should come out from its middle dry. Let the cake cool slightly and remove from the bowl. If desired, you can decorate the cake with icing, to do this, mix powdered sugar with orange juice and apply it on a slightly cooled cake.
