Usually pancakes are served with maple syrup, I want to introduce one more pancake recipe but with apple topping. The topping is fantastic, it is aromatic and soft. You will not regret if try it.
- dried cardamom : 1 pinch
- cinnamon : 0.5 tsp
- water : 2 Tbsp
- apple : 2 piece
- sugar : 0.5 cup (ingredients for topping)
- salt : 1 pinch
- baking powder : 1 tsp
- oatmeal : 2 cup
- vanilla essence : 0.5 tsp
- vegetable oil : 70 ml
- milk : 240 ml
- sugar : 1.5 Tbsp
- egg : 1 piece
Stages of cooking
First make topping. Peel apples and dice them.
Take a pan, mix in apples, water and sugar. Add cinnamon and dried cardamom. Stir on medium heat. When it is boiled, reduce heat and leave, stirring during 6-10 minutes.
Apples must be soft but not sodden. Put away apple topping and let it cool.
Take a large bowl. Whisk egg, milk, vanilla essence and vegetable oil.
Take another bowl and mix properly flour, salt, baking powder and sugar.
Mix two mixtures very quickly, don\'t worry if it is not smooth.
Heat the frying pan, you may pour (but little) vegetable oil and spoon the batter. Turn pancakes on the other side for a minute or two.
Serve absolutely delicious pancakes with apple topping.
