Sweet, delicious and aromatic… This red currant jam will be a perfect topping for cakes, sweet pies, rolls and sandwiches. Regardless of the dessert you are going to cook, this jam always makes a good choice!


  • red currant : 1 kg
  • water : 1 cup
  • sugar : 1 kg

Stages of cooking

  1. Wash and dry red currant. Put the berries into a deep pot, add one cup of water and boil it.

  2. Puree the berries then to get fresh juice.

  3. Add sugar into the juice and boil on medium fire for about 30 minutes since it starts boiling. Spoon the jam into glass jars and wait until the jam cools down. Keep the jars in the fridge.
