This 7-layer salad looks great in a large glass bowl. I usually make it with bacon, lettuce, red onion, pea, Cheddar cheese, and cauliflower but you can vary the type of onions, cheese, etc. There's never too much because everybody loves it!

Ingredients

  • bacon: 1 pound
  • iceberg lettuce - rinsed, dried, and: 1 large head (chopped)
  • red onion: 1 piece (chopped)
  • frozen green peas: 1 pack (10 ounce pack, thawed)
  • cheddar cheese: 10 ounces (shredded)
  • cauliflower: 1 cup (chopped)
  • mayonnaise: 1.25 cups
  • Parmesan cheese: 0.66667 cup (grated)
  • white sugar: 2 Tbsp
