- flour : 2 cup
- sugar : 1 cup
- baking powder : 2 Tbsp
- ginger : 0.5 Tbsp (ground)
- nutmeg : 0.5 Tbsp (ground)
- carrot : 1 cup (grated)
- vanilla essence : 0.5 Tbsp
- egg : 2 piece
- yogurt : 4 Tbsp (natural)
- milk : 0.5 cup
- vegetable oil : 0.5 cup
Stages of cooking
Grease and flour the pan. This takes some time and effort, so, it is better to do this in advance.
Mix flour, baking powder, sugar, ground ginger, vanilla essence or ground nutmeg in a bowl.
Now, add grated carrot to the dry mixture. Mix everything well to get a smooth mass.
Add the rest of ingredients to the dough and mix it once again.
Now, combine both mixtures and stir them well one more time.
Spoon the dough into the baking pan you have prepared. Spread it evenly.
Bake in the pre-heated to 180 C (356 F) oven for about 50 minutes until it becomes light brown.
