Tomato and mozzarella salad served with fresh basil and drizzled with olive oil... there's nothing better! A perfect salad alternative, especially in summer when you can get tomatoes and basil from the garden.

Ingredients

  • tomatoes, sliced : 3 piece
  • mozzarella cheese, sliced : 8 ounces
  • olive oil : 0.25 cup
  • balsamic vinegar : 0.25 cup
  • salt : 0.25 tsp
  • ground black pepper : 0.125 tsp
  • minced fresh basil : 0.25 cup

  1. Place tomato slices, alternating with mozzarella slices, on a large serving platter.
