A traditional coleslaw recipe that's easy to make with creamy mayonnaise, horseradish dressing, and a bag of ready-made coleslaw mix.
- mayonnaise : 1 cup
- white sugar : 0.25 cup
- seasoned rice wine vinegar : 2 Tbsp
- lemon juice : 1.5 Tbsp
- prepared horseradish : 1 Tbsp
- onion powder : 0.5 tsp
- dry mustard : 0.5 tsp
- celery salt : 0.5 tsp
- salt : 0.5 tsp
- ground black pepper : 0.5 tsp
- (28 ounce) package coleslaw mix : 1 pack
Stages of cooking
Whisk mayonnaise, sugar, vinegar, lemon juice, horseradish, onion powder, dry mustard, celery salt, salt, and pepper in a large mixing bowl until sugar has dissolved.
Fold coleslaw mix into dressing until well combined. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
