This apple sausage stuffing is fantastic for Thanksgiving! It is very flavorful and fresh-tasting. This recipe will stuff a 10-pound turkey (which serves six) plus extra. I replaced the usual pork sausage with much healthier turkey sausage.

Ingredients

  • ¾ cups cubed white bread: 3 piece
  • ½ cups cubed whole wheat bread: 1 piece
  • ground turkey sausage: 1 pound
  • onion: 1 cup (chopped)
  • celery: 0.75 cup (chopped)
  • ½ teaspoons dried sage: 2 piece
  • ½ teaspoons dried rosemary: 1 piece
  • thyme: 0.5 tsp (dried)
  • Golden Delicious apple: 1 piece (chopped)
  • cranberries: 0.75 cup (dried)
  • fresh parsley: 0.33333 cup (minced)
  • turkey liver: 1 piece (chopped, cooked)
  • turkey stock: 0.75 cup
  • unsalted butter: 4 Tbsp (melted)
