Beef tips are slow-simmered in a flavorful sauce until tender. My husband loves these easy beef tips and gravy — they melt in your mouth! Serve over rice or egg noodles.

Ingredients

  • vegetable oil: 3 Tbsp
  • medium onion: 1 piece (chopped)
  • beef stew meat: 2 pound (cubed)
  • water: 3 cups (divided)
  • soy sauce: 0.25 cup
  • Worcestershire sauce: 0.25 cup
  • garlic powder: 1 tsp
  • salt: 1 tsp
  • ground black pepper: 1 tsp
  • packet dry brown gravy mix: 1 piece (.75 ounce)

  2. Pour 2 cups water, soy sauce, and Worcestershire sauce into the skillet. Stir in garlic powder, salt, and pepper; bring to a boil. Reduce the heat, cover, and simmer until meat is tender, 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Dotdash Meredith Food Studios
