These sugar cookies with cream cheese are soft, chewy, and flavorful. It is very important to chill the dough, as it is too sticky to roll unless well chilled.

  • white sugar: 1 cup
  • butter: 1 cup (softened)
  • cream cheese: 1 pack (3 ounce pack, softened)
  • egg yolk: 1 piece
  • salt: 0.5 tsp
  • almond extract: 0.5 tsp
  • vanilla extract: 0.5 tsp
  • ¼ cups all-purpose flour: 2 piece

  1. Beat together sugar, butter, cream cheese, egg yolk, salt, almond extract, and vanilla in a large bowl with an electric mixer until smooth. Gradually mix in flour until dough comes together.
