Ingredients

  • ½ cups all-purpose flour: 1 piece
  • white sugar: 1 cup
  • unsweetened cocoa powder: 0.25 cup
  • baking soda: 1 tsp
  • salt: 0.5 tsp
  • vegetable oil: 5 Tbsp
  • white vinegar: 1 Tbsp
  • vanilla extract: 1 tsp
  • water: 1 cup (cold)
  • semi-sweet chocolate chips: 0.5 cup

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease an 8x8-inch baking pan.

  2. Combine flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl; mix well using a fork. Stir in oil, vinegar, and vanilla until thoroughly moistened. Pour in cold water and mix until batter is smooth. Stir in chocolate chips. Pour batter into the prepared pan.
