I got this corn chowder soup recipe from my husband's grandmother. She used to make it for him when he was a child, and when we got married, she passed the recipe on to me.

  • medium potatoes: 4 piece (chopped)
  • medium onion: 1 piece (chopped)
  • cream-style corn: 3 cups
  • water: 2 cups
  • salt: 2 tsp
  • ground black pepper: (to taste)
  • half-and-half: 2 cups
