These Hawaiian chicken pineapple kabobs are tender, sweet, and delicious. They're easy to make and require only a few ingredients.

Ingredients

  • soy sauce: 3 Tbsp
  • brown sugar: 3 Tbsp
  • sherry: 2 Tbsp
  • sesame oil: 1 Tbsp
  • ground ginger: 0.25 tsp
  • garlic powder: 0.25 tsp
  • skinless, boneless chicken breast halves: 8 piece (cut into 2-inch pieces)
  • pineapple chunks: 1 can (20 ounce can, drained)
  • bamboo skewers, soaked in water for 20 minutes: 8 piece

  1. Mix together soy sauce, brown sugar, sherry, sesame oil, ginger, and garlic powder in a shallow glass dish. Stir in chicken pieces and pineapple chunks until well coated. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.

  3. Thread chicken and pineapple alternately onto skewers. Discard excess marinade.
