This homemade baked beans recipe uses canned Northern beans for a quicker and simpler version of this dish.

Ingredients

  • bacon: 0.5 pound
  • Great Northern beans: 2 cans (14.5 ounce cans, drained)
  • onions: 2 piece (chopped)
  • water: 1 cup (optional)
  • packed brown sugar: 0.75 cup
  • ketchup: 3 Tbsp
  • molasses: 3 Tbsp
  • vinegar: 1 Tbsp
  • mustard: 1 Tbsp
  • salt: 1 tsp
  • garlic powder: 1 tsp

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 2 1/2-quart baking dish.
