This ultimate comfort food is loaded with three types of beans. An indulgent side that will impress everyone at your next backyard BBQ!

Ingredients

  • slices bacon: 8 piece (chopped)
  • onion: 1 piece (chopped)
  • green bell pepper: 1 piece (chopped)
  • B&M® Original Baked Beans: 1 can (16 ounce can)
  • Joan of Arc® Dark Red Kidney Beans: 1 can (15.5 ounce can)
  • Joan of Arc® Spicy Chili Beans: 1 can (15 ounce can)
  • BBQ sauce: 0.5 cup
  • cheddar cheese: 0.5 cup (shredded)
  • green onions: 2 piece (chopped)

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Cook bacon in large nonstick skillet until crisp. Remove bacon to paper towel. Remove all but 3 tablespoons bacon fat. Add onion and pepper and cook 5 minutes or until softened.

  2. Add beans, BBQ sauce, and half the bacon and bring to a boil.

  3. Transfer beans to 1 1/2-quart baking dish. Cover with aluminum foil and bake 20 minutes or until bubbling.

  4. Remove foil and top with cheese and reserved bacon. Bake 5 minutes or until cheese is melted.

  5. Sprinkle with green onion.
