This crab soup is the real stuff — genuine Maryland crab soup, direct from the Chesapeake Bay area.

Ingredients

  • stewed tomatoes: 2 cans (14.5 ounce cans)
  • water: 3 cups
  • beef broth: 2 cups
  • lima beans: 1 cup (fresh)
  • frozen corn kernels: 1 cup
  • carrots: 1 cup (sliced)
  • onion: 2 Tbsp (chopped)
  • Old Bay Seasoning TM: 2 Tbsp
  • gallon water: 1 piece
  • blue crab claws, steamed: 10 piece (optional)
  • blue crab crabmeat: 1 pound

  3. Bring 1 gallon water to a boil in a large pot. Add crab claws and boil for 6 minutes; drain.
