Light and fluffy angel food cake frosting. It has all the taste of a boiled frosting with very little effort! Sometimes I like to change it up a bit and use maple or peppermint extract instead of vanilla.

Ingredients

  • white sugar: 1 cup
  • egg white: 1 piece
  • vanilla extract: 1 tsp
  • cream of tartar: 0.25 tsp
  • boiling water: 0.5 cup

  1. Stir sugar, egg white, vanilla, and cream of tartar together in the bowl of a stand mixer. Add boiling water and mix with the whisk attachment until stiff peaks form.
