These sheet pan nachos are simple to make and guaranteed to be a hit at your next get-together.

Ingredients

  • ground beef (80% lean): 1 pound
  • water: 0.25 cup
  • chili powder: 1 Tbsp
  • ground cayenne pepper: 1 tsp
  • salt and ground black pepper: (to taste)
  • Tortilla chips: 1 pack (14.5 ounce pack)
  • pickled jalapeno pepper slices: 1 jar (12 ounce jar, optional)
  • black olives: 1 can (4 ounce can, sliced)
  • cheddar cheese: 2 cups (shredded)
  • sour cream: 1 container (8 ounce container)
  • salsa: 1 cup

  1. Set an oven rack about 6 inches from the heat source and preheat the oven's broiler. Line a sheet pan with aluminum foil.

  2. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook and stir ground beef in the hot skillet until browned and crumbly, 5 to 7 minutes. Mix in water, chili powder, cayenne, salt, and pepper until incorporated.
