Learn how to grill shrimp in foil with this simple and tasty recipe. Shrimp are quickly marinated in olive oil and parsley, then barbecued in a foil pouch.

Ingredients

  • fresh parsley: 1 cup (chopped)
  • olive oil: 0.5 cup
  • garlic: 2 clove (minced)
  • pinch red pepper flakes: 1 piece (to taste)
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper: (to taste)
  • uncooked medium shrimp: 1 pound (peeled and deveined)
  • sheet heavy-duty aluminum foil: 1 piece
  • lemon: 1 piece (juiced)
  • lemon, sliced into wedges: 0.5 piece

  1. Combine parsley, olive oil, garlic, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper in a large bowl. Add shrimp and mix well. Allow to marinate for 10 minutes.

  3. Lay 1 sheet heavy-duty aluminum foil on a flat surface; fold in half. Fold up edges to create a pouch in the middle. Spread marinated shrimp in the pouch and drizzle with lemon juice. Lightly close to make a packet.

  4. Cook packet on the preheated grill until shrimp are bright pink on the outside and the meat is opaque, 8 to 10 minutes. Serve with lemon wedges.
