An easy brisket recipe as the name suggests — and simply the best. This a great recipe to make the day before and reheat to serve.

Ingredients

  • beef brisket, trimmed of fat: 1 piece (3 pound)
  • salt and pepper: (to taste)
  • medium onion: 1 piece (sliced)
  • beer: 1 can (12 fluid ounce can)
  • tomato-based chili sauce: 1 bottle (12 ounce bottle)
  • packed brown sugar: 0.75 cup
