Vampiros Mexicanos is a real Mexican cocktail! This drink combines, in one glass, the best of Mexico: tequila and sangrita (Mexican's favorite tequila chaser). Don't look for cheap tequila; if you like the good stuff, don't be afraid to mix it.

Ingredients

  • ice cubes: 1 cup (or as needed)
  • ounces sangrita (Mexican-style bloody mary mix with orange and lime): 3 piece
  • ½ fluid ounces silver tequila (100% agave): 1 piece
  • ½ ounces citrus-flavored soda (such as Squirt): 1 piece
  • lime: 0.5 piece (juiced)
  • pinch Mexican-style chili powder with lime (such as Tajin fruit seasoning): 1 piece
