Taco filling using fried beans as its base. Great with taco shells, tortillas, or chips.

Ingredients

  • olive oil: 1 Tbsp
  • onion: 1 piece (diced)
  • garlic: 2 clove (minced)
  • bell pepper: 1 piece (chopped)
  • black beans, rinsed, drained, and: 2 cans (14.5 ounce cans, mashed)
  • yellow cornmeal: 2 Tbsp
  • ½ tablespoons cumin: 1 piece
  • paprika: 1 tsp
  • cayenne pepper: 1 tsp
  • chili powder: 1 tsp
  • salsa: 1 cup
