Waffles is a usual breakfast meal but you have a chance to make it unusual if you cook it with bacon and cheese. It is simple, tasty and substantial.

Ingredients

  • cheese : 0.5 cup (grated)
  • bacon : 5 piece
  • milk : 1 cup
  • salt : 2 pinch
  • baking powder : 2 tsp
  • sugar : 0.5 Tbsp
  • flour : 1 cup
  • butter : 3 Tbsp
  • egg : 2 piece
  • corn meal : 150 g

Stages of cooking

  1. Pour one cup of boiled water over corn meal and stir.

  2. Mix flour with baking powder.

  3. When corn meal will soak all the water an will cool down to the room temperature, place it into a large bowl and add eggs.

  4. Add melted butter and whisk ingredients.

  5. Now add flour mixed with baking powder and stir everything until it is smooth.

  6. Add milk and again whisk.

  7. Little fried slices of bacon add into the batter.

  8. Add grated cheese.

  9. Stir everything properly. Now the batter is ready.

  10. Spread the batter over the pre-heated waffle iron.

  11. Bake until golden brown about 3-5 minutes. Serve waffles with small piece of butter. Serve it warm. Bon appétit!
