My aunt's Irish soda bread which we all loved. Family from the County Cork.

Ingredients

  • all-purpose flour: 4 cups
  • white sugar: 1 cup
  • raisins: 1 cup
  • caraway seeds: 2 Tbsp
  • baking powder: 1 Tbsp
  • baking soda: 0.5 tsp
  • salt: 0.5 tsp
  • eggs: 2 piece (beaten)
  • buttermilk: 1 cup
  • milk: 0.75 cup

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease and flour a heavy pan.
