Make dinner fun with this easy meal using boxed mac and cheese with added bold flavors and pre-cooked chicken meatballs. Top with your favorite barbeque sauce and serve.

Ingredients

  • water: 6 cups
  • macaroni and cheese mix (such as KRAFT® Macaroni & Cheese Dinner): 1 box (7.25 ounce box)
  • milk: 0.25 cup
  • margarine, cut up: 0.25 cup
  • 1/2 cups shredded sharp Cheddar cheese: 1 piece
  • onion: 0.33333 cup (chopped)
  • Jalapeno: 1 piece (chopped)
  • egg, lightly: 1 piece (beaten)
  • garlic powder: 1 tsp
  • onion powder: 1 tsp
  • paprika: 1 tsp
  • pre-cooked chicken meatballs: 1 pound (thawed)
  • panko bread crumbs: 0.25 cup
  • barbeque sauce: 0.25 cup (to taste)

  1. Bring water to a boil in a saucepan. Add macaroni and cook until tender, 7 to 8 minutes; drain. Stir in margarine, milk, and cheese sauce packet. Set aside to cool slightly.   2. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Grease a 9-inch baking dish.
