This easy, basic yeasted sweet bread recipe uses only eight ingredients and can be made into dinner rolls, cinnamon rolls, or sticky buns.

  • milk: 1 cup
  • white sugar: 0.33333 cup
  • active dry yeast: 1 Tbsp
  • all-purpose flour: 4 cups
  • salt: 0.5 tsp
  • unsalted butter: 0.33333 cup (softened)
  • eggs: 2 piece
  • vegetable oil: 2 Tbsp (divided, or as needed)
