Yuca, or cassava, is a Latin American root vegetable. This simple dish is the way my granny used to make it.

Ingredients

  • yuca: 2 pound (peeled and sliced lengthwise)
  • salt: 0.5 tsp
  • olive oil: 0.25 cup
  • onion: 0.5 piece (diced)
  • garlic: 4 clove (minced)
  • lemon juice: 0.5 tsp (fresh)
