This Dutch baby recipe is from my great-grandmother. Warm Dutch babies are great on a cold morning — they're light, yet very filling. I love to eat them. Serve with warm maple syrup and lemon wedges.

Ingredients

  • eggs: 2 piece
  • milk: 0.5 cup
  • sifted all-purpose flour: 0.5 cup
  • pinch ground nutmeg: 1 piece
  • pinch salt: 1 piece
  • butter: 2 Tbsp
  • confectioners' sugar for dusting: 2 Tbsp
