Easy Italian Pasta with Cherry Tomato Sauce recipe for dinner or lunch. You need only a few ingredients to please your loved ones with gourmet cuisine.
- cherry tomatoes : 200 g
- chicken broth : 1 cup (may be replaced with water)
- garlic : 2 clove
- oregano : 1 Tbsp (fresh oregano)
- parmesan : 5 Tbsp (grated)
- pasta : 400 g (PENNE RIGATE is used in the recipe)
- olive oil : 2 Tbsp
- salt : 0.5 tsp
Stages of cooking
Put the cherry, olive oil and garlic, in a heated stewpan. Salt and fry for a couple of minutes over medium heat, stirring constantly.
As the garlic reddens and tomatoes begin to burst, pour in chicken broth. Bring to a boil and cook for 10 minutes.
Add oregano (and / or other herbs to taste).
Crush with blender until smooth.
Pour water into a large saucepan. Salt and boil the Penne Rigate pasta. Drain for a couple of minutes until ready. Season with tomato sauce and salt to taste.
Stir until a part of the sauce is absorbed.
Put on a plate. Add parmesan.
