  • ginger: 150 g (fresh)
  • brown sugar: 200 g
  • orange: 1 piece
  • lemon: 1 piece

  3. Take two large glass jars and place ginger and citrus peels into them. Pour with cold water and leave for about 3 days. Change the water twice or thrice a day.

  4. Then place the ginger and citrus peels into a pot, add sugar and water and boil them. Right after that, turn the fire off and leave the jam for about 2-3 hours (or overnight). Then put the jam onto fire once again, boil it and turn the fire off one more time. Leave for 2-3 hours. Finally, boil the jam once again, add lemon juice and let it cool down.
