This Hawaiian pizza has a nice crunchy crust with flavorful toppings, including pineapple that has a slight smoky flavor.

Ingredients

  • extra-virgin olive oil, plus more for pan: 1 Tbsp
  • slices applewood-smoked bacon: 2 piece
  • canned pineapple rings: 4 piece
  • pizza dough, at room temperature: 1 pound (fresh)
  • pizza sauce: 0.5 cup
  • mozzarella cheese: 2 cups (shredded)
  • red onion: 0.25 cup (thinly sliced)
  • slices Canadian bacon, cut into 1-inch triangles: 4 piece
