This Instant Pot meatloaf is quick to prepare and delicious. It's made a little sweet with apple.

Ingredients

  • ground beef: 2 pound
  • dry bread crumbs: 1 cup
  • onion: 0.5 cup (diced)
  • apple - peeled, cored, and: 0.5 piece (diced)
  • egg: 1 piece
  • garlic powder: 2 tsp
  • salt: 0.5 tsp
  • ground black pepper: 0.5 tsp
  • ketchup: 0.33333 cup
  • prepared yellow mustard: 2 Tbsp
  • brown sugar: 2 Tbsp

  3. Pour 1/2 cup water into a multi-functional pressure cooker (such as Instant Pot) and place the steam rack inside with the handles up. Place the meatloaf on top of the rack. Close and lock the lid; seal the vent. Select high pressure according to manufacturer's instructions; set timer for 25 minutes. Allow 10 to 15 minutes for pressure to build.   4. Set an oven rack about 6 inches from the heat source and preheat the oven's broiler.

  5. Release cooker pressure carefully using the quick-release method according to the manufacturer's instructions, about 5 minutes. Unlock and remove the lid.
