This plum sauce is an easy version that is very tasty and keeps well in the fridge. Serve hot or chilled with egg rolls, pork, or chicken.

Ingredients

  • ounces plum jam: 12 piece
  • vinegar: 2 Tbsp
  • brown sugar: 1 Tbsp
  • minced onion: 1 Tbsp (dried)
  • red pepper flakes: 1 tsp (crushed)
  • clove garlic: 1 piece (minced)
  • ground ginger: 0.5 tsp

  1. Combine jam, vinegar, brown sugar, dried onion, red pepper, garlic, and ginger in a saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a boil; cook and stir until thickened to desired consistency. Allow to cool before storing in the refrigerator.
