Shrimp marinara hits all the right spots - tasty shrimp with homemade tomato sauce served over spaghetti. A quick and easy weeknight meal.

Ingredients

  • ounces dry spaghetti: 12 piece
  • Extra virgin olive oil: 3 Tbsp
  • large shrimp: 1 pound (peeled and deveined)
  • garlic: 4 clove (sliced)
  • red pepper: 0.5 tsp (crushed)
  • (15-ounce) diced fire-roasted tomatoes: 1 piece
  • tomato sauce: 1 can (15 ounce can)
  • fresh basil: 0.25 cup (for garnish, chopped)
  • balsamic vinegar: 1 Tbsp
  • oregano: 1 tsp (dried)
  • kosher salt: 0.25 tsp
