Homemade angel food cake is worth the work. It is moist, unlike the sweet Styrofoam-like cakes available in the grocery bakery. A tube pan with a removable bottom is highly recommended.

Ingredients

  • ½ cups egg whites: 1 piece
  • cream of tartar: 1 tsp
  • vanilla extract: 0.5 tsp
  • almond extract: 0.5 tsp
  • ¼ cups cake flour: 1 piece
  • ¾ cups white sugar: 1 piece
  • salt: 0.25 tsp
