This vegetable fried rice combines the nutty flavor of brown rice with the fresh taste of bell peppers, baby peas, and other vegetables.

Ingredients

  • water: 3 cups
  • ½ cups quick-cooking brown rice: 1 piece
  • peanut oil: 2 Tbsp
  • yellow onion: 1 piece (chopped)
  • green bell pepper: 1 piece (chopped)
  • garlic: 1 tsp (minced)
  • red pepper flakes: 0.25 tsp
  • green onions: 3 piece (sliced)
  • soy sauce: 3 Tbsp
  • frozen petite peas: 1 cup
  • sesame oil: 2 tsp
  • roasted peanuts: 0.25 cup (optional)
