This is a great way to use bananas that are too ripe to eat on their own. Serve with candied pecans or walnuts and real maple syrup.

Ingredients

  • all-purpose flour: 1 cup
  • whole wheat flour: 0.75 cup
  • baking powder: 1 Tbsp
  • kosher salt: 0.25 tsp
  • ½ cups milk: 1 piece
  • overripe bananas: 1 cup (mashed)
  • canola oil: 0.5 cup
  • eggs: 2 piece
  • vanilla extract: 0.5 tsp

  1. Preheat a waffle iron according to manufacturer's instructions. Grease the inside of the waffle iron.
