This recipe is very flexible, meaning that I rarely remember to put all of the same ingredients/proportions in twice, and it still tastes great.

Ingredients

  • mayonnaise: 0.75 cup
  • lime, zested: 1 piece
  • lime juice: 2 tsp (fresh)
  • rice vinegar: 0.5 tsp
  • garlic: 2 clove (minced)
  • sweet chili sauce: 2 tsp
  • white sugar: 2 tsp
  • fresh cilantro: 3 Tbsp (finely chopped)
  • red onion: 0.25 piece (diced, to taste)
  • green cabbage: 4 cups (to taste, shredded)

  1. Whisk mayonnaise, lime zest, lime juice, rice vinegar, garlic, sweet chili sauce, and sugar in a large bowl, stirring to dissolve sugar. Mix cilantro and red onion into dressing. Stir cabbage into dressing mixture, about 1 cup at a time, until all cabbage is coated.
