These cranberry orange cookies are nice to have during the holidays, but don't expect them to stay around long. These orange-flavored cranberry cookies are tart and delicious, not to mention beautiful. Not really a favorite of kids.

Ingredients

  • unsalted butter: 1 cup (softened)
  • white sugar: 1 cup
  • packed brown sugar: 0.5 cup
  • egg: 1 piece
  • orange juice: 2 Tbsp
  • orange zest: 1 tsp (grated)
  • ½ cups all-purpose flour: 2 piece
  • baking soda: 0.5 tsp
  • salt: 0.5 tsp
  • cranberries: 2 cups (chopped)
  • walnuts: 0.5 cup (chopped, optional)
  • ½ cups confectioners' sugar: 1 piece
  • orange juice: 3 Tbsp
  • orange zest: 0.5 tsp (grated)

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
